One of the benefits of donating through GeeCees is that you will have the option of reporting your donation in one of two ways; as a donation to a 501c3, or as a marketing expense. In this way you are not limited to only donating to 501c3 organizations.
The donor, the donee, and the buyers decide. If any one of those three don’t believe that a certain cause is a “good” cause, they won’t participate in the GeeCees Five Step Process and the cause will never receive any funds.
A good cause could be anything from a well established 501c3 nonprofit organization to a friend who needs emergency surgery.
